A work-in-progress Minecraft 1.20.1 survival modpack built around scarcity, escalation, tactical combat, and the feeling that the world is becoming harder faster than you can prepare.
Survival beyond the first night
Eclipse Protocol is designed as a campaign rather than a loose collection of mods. Food is less abundant, medicine matters, firearms are powerful but costly, and hostile activity escalates through world phases. Progress depends on preparation, exploration, and choosing which risks are worth taking.
Core experience
Escalating world
Spawn pressure and enemy variety change over time. Later phases demand better defenses, stronger equipment, and a reliable supply chain.
Tactical combat
TaCZ firearms, controlled explosives, scarce ammunition, and dangerous hostile encounters reward positioning and preparation.
Survival economy
Reduced passive food availability, medical administration, rubles, data chips, specialized crafting, and research create meaningful resource decisions.
Exploration
Structures, loot, audio logs, environmental storytelling, and dangerous points of interest push players beyond a safe base.
Project status
Eclipse Protocol is actively developed and balanced through playtesting. Back up important worlds before major updates and check the changelog for removed mods, altered recipes, progression changes, and compatibility notes.
